IMHO no : you cannot restore a backup for SQL 2005 on SQL 2000 or SQL 7.
Try SQL Server Integration Services for transform data

No, you cannot restore a SQL 2005 database to SQL 2000. Your subject

Thanks for your response.
SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) is a tool of SQL 2005 for data
transform between many kinds of data sources instead of DTS in SQL 2000.
You can create a SSIS project from SQL Server Business Intelligence Studio
under the menu of SQL Server 2005.
For the usage of SSIS, you may refer to SQL Server Books Online.
